Pactola Lake

Pactola Lake is the largest reservoir in the South Dakota Black Hills and is located on Rapid Creek, near Rapid City. A popular recreation area, Pactola Lake attracts swimmers, boaters and fishers. Divers like to explore the submerged mining town of Pactola at the bottom of the lake. Facilities include a marina, campsites and picnic areas.
